Successful boiler blow-off and converse electricity putting for main transformer of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant
Yesterday (10/10) in Ha Tinh province, Main Contractor Lilama carried out to blow off boiler 1 and put converse electricity successfully for main transformer of Vung Ang 1 thermal power project. Previously, LILAMA had operated the supply water pump, condenser water pump and other accessories, and all the technical specifications had satisfied requirements.
In the coming time, Lilama will quickly start to perform the other important items of Machine Unit 1, so that Turbine will be synchronous with the national grid for the first time on 6/12/2013 and the first burning of boiler with coal fuel will happen on 10/12/2013.
The Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant with capacity of 1,200 MW, up to now, has been finished by 93.7% of the total work volume by Main Contractor Lilama. Particularly, the designing work has achieved 99.87%; the procurement and transportation work have achieved 99.2%; construction & installation have reached 95.2%; and commissioning work of machine unit 1 has reached 90.5%.
