Finishing the installation of 12 Reactors with total weight of 8,000 tons in Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project

After more than a month since the first Reactor installation, on 4/4, the Sao Mai machinery installation enterprize – LILAMA 69-1 JSC in coordination with NIPPON EXPRESS Co. (NEX) have finished installing the whole 12 Reactors in Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project with total weight of upto 7,800 tons, 01 day earlier than the planned schedule.
Reactor is an equipment system to realize chemical reactions to make products of a production process, so it decides the productivity and efficiency of oil chemical refinery plants. In Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project, 12 Reactors must be installed to ensure the plant operation. Each Reactor weighs 650 tons.
In this item, LILAMA 69-1 coordinated with NIPPON EXPRESS (NEX) to perform the installation work, calibrate equipment and support NIPPON EXPRESS during installing process. Two cranes of 1350 tons and 800 tons had been transported from oversea to the project site for the installation.

With scientific performing methods, careful preparation work, harmonious coordination between LILAMA 69-1 and NEX and especially the effort of the labourers participating in the performance, the installation of 12 Reactors was successful, satisfying the standards of safety, quality and planned schedule. This item accomplishment is a condition to carry out the next ones, contributing to ensure the entire schedule and the success of the project.
LILAMA 69-1 workers were calibrating the Reactors
After installing 12 Reacrors, LILAMA 69-1 continued to install the auxiliary items of the equipment such as installing steel structures and the technological piping systems around the equipment. Besides, Lilama 69-1 is now preparing to perform the installation of next item: the system of detaching and refining products after reactions. As anticipated, on 20/4/2015, Lilama 69-1 will install C401 - the highest equipment of AC00 area where the company is responsible for.
In Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project, LILAMA 69-1 is responsible for such work items as: installing 3,700 tons of steel structures, installing 19,000 tons of equipment, manufacturing 118,569 ID of piping and installing 172,000 ID of piping for package SMP-1 (in AC00 area); manufacturing 124,000 ID of piping, installing 78,000 ID of piping for package SMP-6A2; installing 30,000 ID of piping for package SMP-7 and insulating all the AC00 area.
