Recently (16/9/2016) in Nam Son commune, Soc Son district, Hanoi, the waste treatment and power generating plant has conducted a ceremony of fire lighting after a process of installation, test running and operation; preparing to merge synchronously and generate electricity into the national power grid in the end of December 2016.

In this project, Lilama 69-1 coordinate with Cimas to be consortium contractor responsible for package 1 including design, material & equipment supply; construction, manufacture of equipment, installation and technological transfer.

After 22 months of construction, up to now Lilama 69-1 has accomplished about 95% of the work volume, satisfying the project schedule. There were lots of important items such as: test running of pressured air systems, oil supply, water supply, Flue gas duct and other controlling electric systems. Also, Lilama 69-1 has successfully put electricity into the plant's power distribution system on 12/9/2016. This has a specially important meaning because the project is the first sample model in Vietnam applying Japanese advanced technology of boiler lighting which re-use wastes like a resource to take back energy (to generate electricity with capacity of 1,930KW), a part from it will be re-used to operate the plant, and the rest will be generated into the national grid.

This is the first project in the process of industrial waste treatment to generate electricity by a burning method with capacity of 75 tons per day. The plant is being built in the area of 16,809m2 with total investment capital of 645,202 million dongs among which the aid source of technology and equipment from New industrial technology and energy development organization - Japan (NEDO) is 472,188 million dongs and the corresponding capital part is 173,015 million dongs from Hanoi budget. The project is expected to handle industrial waste in Hanoi absolutely to protect the environment, re-use waste to supply electricity.
