To solve difficulty and insufficiency for main point mechanical projects
This was the subject in the seminar of Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises and the Heavy Industrial Department of Commercial Industrial Ministry organized in the morning of (18.12) in Hanoi.
According statistic, the industrial production value of mechanical sector in recent years have a considerable growth. Particularly, in 2013, the industrial production value of this sector reached VND 700 thousand billion, making up 20% of the whole industrial branch; the export value in 2013 achieved more than USD 13 billion, approximately 6 times as much as the 2006 export value.
However, these figures have not yet reflected the real potentiality of the mechanical enterprizes, almost fields have notyet attained their targets and notyet met the needs of the market inside the country either, concretely in 2013, the mechanical sector satisfied only 34.5% of the country's demand.
The reason maybe is that there are limitations and no consistency in the enforcement of mechanism and policies, especially the financial mechanism with its limited resource. There are also insufficiencies in managing, checking, proposing and deploying mechanism & policies for the mechanical sector.
That is why, the seminar was an important forum for enterprizes, foreign partners and localities have a chance to meet and exchange the difficulties and insufficiencies during implementing the Instruction No.16/CT-TTg of Prime Minister issued on 18.6.2014 concerning the solution for hardships and promotion of realizing the development strategy of Vietnamese mechanical sector. The seminar also concentrated on making suggestions for the Draft of modification and addtion to Decision No.10/2009/QĐ-TTg on 16.1.2009 by Prime Minister regarding the supporting mechanism for the development of producing main point mechanical products.
