Lilama Corporation: ensures the construction schedules of main important projects
In the first half of year 2015, Lilama Corpration continued to affirm their trade mark as the leading machinery installation enterprize of Vietnam in fields of equipment manufacture for domestic projects & export; construction, accomplishment and handover of various projects to Owners, satisfying both schedule and quality.

The typical project is Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant with capacity of 1,200 MW in Ky Anh district (Ha Tinh province). This is a thermal power plant having machine units with the biggest capacity in Vietnam for the time being (2x600 MW) and has been performed successfully by domestic EPC Main Contractor. After installing, test-running and putting into operation, Lilama has already handed over both machine units to Owner for commercial electricity generation. As anticipated, on 13/7, the Owner will hold inauguration ceremony for the plant.
The first half of year 2015 also marked an important event of Lilama. On 16/5/2015, at Song Hau Electricity Centre (Chau Thanh district, Hau Giang province), Lilama Corporation in coordination with the Owner - Petroleum of Vietnam organized the commencement ceremony of construction for Song Hau 1 thermal power plant. Lilama is the EPC Main Contractor of this project. Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung praised Lilama for participating to build successfully many thermal power projects with giant capacity such as Ca Mau 1 & 2, Nhon Trach 1 & 2, Vung Ang 1.
In Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project (Thanh Hoa), Lilama also keeps up with the schedule in items of manufacturing and installing steel structures, vessels & tanks, piping ... especially within this year, they will coordinate with other contractors to install a number of important equipment for the plant like tower of propane/propylene splitter.
Over the past time, Lilama has finished the installation of steel structures and steam drum of machine unit 2 for Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant, earlier than the defined schedule. This is one of the most important items, marking the milestone of steel structure installing accomplishment and turning to the stage of installing pressured section and equipment of boiler for the plant.
In Lai Chau hydro power plant, Lilama has participated to assemble and install thousands of equipment for the plant. In the first half of the year particularly, Lilama has finished many items of work for the success of water inlet sluice. As anticipated, up to the end of August, they will install Rotor and it is quite possible to generate electricity from machine unit 1 in the coming December. As for machine units 2 & 3, the turbine wells have been already installed and welded, the bend drain valves have been finished; the curved bends are being painted.
