LILAMA10: successfully installed rotor of machine unit 1, Huoi Quang hydro power plant
At 11:30 a.m of September 4th 2015, the Rotor weighed 500 tons was put into its installation place safely & accurately by Lilama 10 JSC machinery workers.
The rotor with diameter of 9.6m, 2.5m high and 500 tons heavy was lift by a crane and moved gradually from the assembling place, over the machine room to the installation place, this distance was about 50m.

Mr Pham Thanh Son, Project Commander of Lilama 10 JSC at Huoi Quang hydro power plant said gladly that the rotor of machine unit was approximately 500 tons heavy, plus the 2 shoulder poles between 2 cranes and the total weight was more than 500 tons. The successful installation of machine unit 1 had an important meaning, assuring the aim of generating electricity from this machine unit as per the defined schedule in the end of this year.
To insure the defined schedule, all the work of assembling stator, rotor of machine unit as well as installing turbine had been calculated carefully and checked in details by the workers.
Besides, Lilama 10 JSC is now carrying out the last phases in order to launch rotor of machine unit 1 at Lai Chau hydro power plant on 14/9/2015 as anticipated, assuring to generate electricity of the machine unit in the end of this year and finish the entire plant in the end of 2016.
Huoi Quang hydro power plant project has capacity of 2x260MW= 520MW
