Lilama 10: determined to achieve the aim of generating electricity from machine unit 1 as per schedule
According LILAMA Managing Board in Lai Chau hydro power plant, though the pressure of schedule is very severe, up to now, LILAMA 10 has kept up with the defined the schedule, striving for generating electricity from machine unit 1 in the end of this year as planned.
From now on to the time of generating electricity of machine unit 1, there are only 2.5 months left, so all cadres, engineers and workers of LILAMA 10 are racing against time. At the moment, the construction work outside the plant is being finished gradually, the work of installation is performed mainly inside the building and not affected by the weather. The whole plant is working in 3 shifts constantly to assure the defined schedule.
On 14/10, LILAMA 10 installed successfully rotor of machine unit 1
At the item of spillway, at gate 5, the rotation cushion of arc valve has been already installed, the method support at gate of arc valve is being performed; at gate 6: test-run for hydraulic lifting machine has been completed, cylinder has been connected to valve gate and the rubber washer is being fitted up.
At the item of water intake gates: 6/6 sets of garbage net of 6 gates have been installed already; another set for provision is now being installed, too.
At the gate of repair valve: LILAMA 10 has finished work of test running for the system and connecting cranes to valve gates of 3 machine units. However, there is a problem of self-drift of hydraulic cylinder, gate 1, machine unit 1 and it needs a piston; it is now waiting for experts to check & solve the problem.
On 14/10, LILAMA 10 installed successfully rotor of machine unit 1, they are now installing Stator frame of machine unit 2. Rotor of machine unit 2 has been cleaned, the Silic iron sheets have been classified and they are going to be assembled. Stayrin static rim of turbine has been cut and it is being grinded for finish. As for machine unit 3: technological pipes are being installed surrounding turbine well and upto the height of 206,4m.
For the time being, LILAMA 10 has mobilized approximately 900 skilled workers to the project site.
Together with the preparation work for installing rotors of all 3 machine units, the item of electrical equipment of machine unit 1 is being conducted quickly by LILAMA 10. Up to now, the installation work, oil refinery work for transformer and resistance-box 1 have been accomplished, resistance-box 2 has been also put into the design position.
Besides, the auxiliary items of machine unit 1 are being performed such as: high voltage pumping stations have been installed already at the height of 178.5m and the system is now on test running. The cooling water supply system for pumping stations, air compressors has been finished, handed over and put into use. Pressure test is being carried on for cooling water supply system of machine unit 1 and it is waiting for test run, too.
Within October, LILAMA 10 will install about 1,190 tons of equipment; install, finish, handover & put into use gate 6; install arc valve of gate 5; install stair-cases, handrails and other steel structures.
