Lilama Corporation: achieves the value of nearly VND 3,000 billion in Quarter I
Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation - JSC (LILAMA) has just organized a meeting to sum up partially the production activity in Quarter 1, deploy the plan of Quarter 2 and prepare plan of year 2016 at the construction site of Song Hau 1 thermal power plant (Hau Giang province) on May 16th.
As reported, although there were many holidays
in Quarter 1 (about 30 days), in all projects awarded to Lilama, the leaders guided project management boards and member companies to gather manpower & equipment for accomplishing defined work volumes such as: finishing and handingover Mong Duong 2 thermal power plant, conducting to generate electricity from machine unit 1 of Lai Chau hydro power plant and already finishing the pending works of Mong Duong 1 thermal power plant; at the same time concentrating on construction work so as to ensure the schedule milestones of Formosa steel plant (Ha Tinh), Nghi Son oil chemical refinery plant (Thanh Hoa), Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant, Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant… All these projects contributed to completing the items, plans of Lilama Corp. and the member companies, especially creating steady jobs for 22,000 labourers and bringing about the production value of 2,912.9 billion dongs in Quarter I, turnover of VND 2,471.2 billion, profit of VND 49.4 billion (equivalent to 113.3% of the plan)… As anticipated, in Quarter II, Lilama will achieve VND 3,756.7 billion for production value, VND 3,140.8 billion for turnover, VND 50 billion, 97 billion for profit and the 2016 production value of the entire Corporation will increase from 108% to 257.1% in comparison with year 2015.
In order to complete all specified planning targets, Lilama Corporation will uphold and develop strongly the field of equipment manufacture, construction & installation for industrial projects through EPC contracts, at the same time muster up manpower and facilities for performing important EPC projects approved to Lilama such as: Nghi Son oil chemical refinery plant, Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant, Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant, Song Hau 1 thermal power plant and other near future ones like Phu Long 1 thermal power plant, Quang Trach thermal power plant, Quynh Lap 1 thermal power plant and the expension Vinh Tan 4 thermal power project.
