All for the purpose of 1st burning for Machine Unit 1 of Vung Ang thermal power plant

     Up to now, the items relating the purpose of 1st burning of Machine Unit 1 with HFO oil have almost been finished in installation so as to come to the Commissioning phase. At the same time, the work of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning have been prepared in all systems.

     After listening to a report from Lilama Project Board, General Director Le Van Tuan personally checked the performance schedule of main items and listened to reports of Lilama performing units; and in each item, he reminded and requested the leaders to do their best to mobilize the performing force to finish the committed schedule milestones and hand over the item on time.

     At the meeting between Owner and Contractor, LILAMA leaders shared the difficulties and committed themselves to ensure the main schedule milestones as signed with the Owner (PVN); Lilama also petitioned the Owner to enable them to speed up the performing schedule, particularly, the ground clearance should be done sooner with pending matters: the water supplying pipelines of Vung Ang Economic Board, Hoanh Son Co., the House of Management Board of Distribution Yard 500 KV, transformer 660KV and the power transmission line 35KV, concrete mixing station BDCC, PVC, etc.; supplying raw water source, meeting the demand of flow, pressure and stability to replace the current utility water source; the sudden going out of electricity happens constantly, which much affects the schedule of installation, the process and quality of commission.

     Besides, Lilama leaders also required the participating sub-contractors (construction contractors) to speed up, direct seriously their labourers to work harder to assure the schedule as well as the quality of the items relating the milestone of first burning (1/9/2013). 

     After listening to the report and petitions from LILAMA leaders, Mr Phung Đinh Thuc - PVN Chairman of the Board agreed with them. He requested the relating parties to make it easy for Lilama to accelerate the project schedule so as to assure the burning of boiler and generating electricity of Machine Unit 1 in the end of this year.

According the report: Main Contractor LILAMA has finished 90.23% of the project work volume:

     - Designing work: finished 99.68% of all items.

     - Procuring, transporting work: LILAMA and sub-contractors have signed contracts,ordered to manufacture and transport equipment to site for almost systems, reaching 98.45% of the work volume.

     - Construction and Installation: reach 92.35% of the work volume.

     - Commission: reaches 15.3%.
