Commencing to install boiler of machine unit 2 for Song Hau 1 thermal power plant
This morning (29/11), in Song Hau 1 thermal power project (Chau Thanh, Hau Giang), LILAMA Corporation in coordination with Owner and other concerning organizations has conducted to start the installation of boiler of machine unit 2 for the plant.
At 7:30 a.m, the first steel structures were installed into their places safely and accurately. Mr Ngo Van Thiem – Director of Machinery Installation and Construction Enterprise 10-4 (LILAMA10) who is responsible for installing the whole steel structures of boiler 2 said that the total quantity of steel structures and equipment of boiler 2 was about 20-22 thousand tons.
Song Hau 1 thermal power plant with capacity of 1,200 MW is invested by Petroleum of Vietnam and its EPC Main Contractor is Lilama Corporation. This is a national main important project which has been started the construction since 5/2015. As anticipated, after being completed and put into operation, the plant will supply the national power grid with approximately 7.8 billion kWh per year, contributing to assure the national energy security and develop the economy of Mekong River Delta generally and Hau Giang province particularly.
