LILAMA 69-1: Hallmark in main important projects

The company is now participating to install Thai Binh 1 and 2 thermal power plants

Mr Pham The Kien - General Director of LILAMA 69-1 JSC said that since the beginning of this year, the company has concentrated to perform such important projects as: Nghi Son oil refinery plant, Thai Binh 1 and 2 thermal power plants, manufacturing equipment for Kawasaki, manufacturing Steam Ducts for Enexio, finishing Nam Son waste-burnt thermal power plant (Hanoi), implementing repair & maintenance work in Cam Pha thermal power plant, Tan Rai - Lam Dong Aluminum plant, Nhan Co Aluminum plant (Dắk Nong) and others… Although meeting with various difficulties and hardships, the company has made its effort and achieved remarkable results in the first 3 quarters of the year: estimated turnover attains 642 billion dongs, profit: 8.2 billion dongs, monthly income per capita: 7.94 milllion dongs.

     The Company has speeded up the work of marketing, developing job market so as to ensure jobs for more than 3,500 labourers. Beside the projects being deployed, in coming time, LILAMA 69-1 is preparing for installation of Long Phu 1 thermal power project, Laos Rock Salt Exploiting and Processing Factory project; they are aslo negotiating with ThyssenKrupp to cooperate in URE project in Brunei…

     Being 1 of the 3 main activities of LILAMA 69-1, the work of repair and maintenance is always paid much attention to with the aim of keeping and expanding market by concrete plans and strategies. In 2016, the Company Board of Repair and Maintenance made the best effort to affirm the position of LILAMA 69-1 in this field.

     Since the beginning of this year, the Board has concentrated to repair and maintain Cam Pha thermal power plant, Mong Duong 1 & 2 thermal power plants, Tan Rai Aluminum plant (Lam Dong), Nhan Co Aluminum plant (Dắk Nong)…

      According to the signed contract, Lilama 69-1 will manufacture 2,600 tons of vessels and steel structures among which the 2,400 tons of steel structures are the most important including more than 2,000 tons of shaped steel structures, 250 tons of assembled ones and 60 tons of steel for staircases & banisters. The Factory will perform this work since the commencement to the end of May 2017. With the above schedule, it will have to finish and hand over about 400 tons monthly to customer. Factory Vice Director said "To serve this project, our Factory has arranged the performance area scientifically with adequate machineries and equipment for manufacturing steel structures such as drilling machines, cutting machines, sawing machines, punching machines, shaped steel whirling machines and so on. Regarding manpower, we are now mobilizing 150 engineers and workers to the project site, and we will also mobilize 100 more people in necessary time from January to April 2017 as anticipated"

    Since many years, LILAMA 69 -1 has been a regular partner in the work of maintaining items of Dung Quat oil refinery plant (BSR). Because LILAMA 69-1 had taken part in installing some important items of the plant, the Company participated in the overall repair and maintenance for it the first time (2011) and second time (2014), and the manufacture of chimney equipment for it (2015).

Entering the world's market

     Affiming reputation in national important projects, besides, LILAMA 69-1 has been entering the world's market with many contracts of exporting equipment. Since February 2016, LILAMA 69-1 has signed cooperation agreement with Enexio Company (Germany) to supply more than 2,000 tons of Ducts for piping system of Air-cooled condenser in thermal power project Greensville County Power Station - USA.

     Equipment and Steel Structure Manufacturing Factory has fabricated steel structures for many national important projects and export to foreign countries. The Factory's capability has been highly appreciated by their partners and customers. TTCL is a traditional partner of Lilama 69-1, they cooperated successfully with Lilama 69-1 in such projects as Ethanol - Binh Phuoc, Diamoni phosphate fertilizer plant (DAP) No.2 - Lao Cai, Amon Nitrat Processing Plant - Thai Binh. 

    In addition to 2,400 tons of steel structures, the Factory will manufacture about 200 tons of vessels according to the contract. This package has been started since 11/2016, up to now 50% of the work volume has been completed and it will be finished by January 2017 as anticipated.

     Mr Pham The Kien appreciated this project was also the background for the company to continue its development and affirm its ability in manufacturing and installing equipment in Vietnam as well as cooperating with big foreign companies, expanding market to outside countries in the area and the world.
