Lilama Corporation exceeds the production targets in 2015
In 2015, the economy of the world and Vietnam continued to recover and there were a lot of changes as well as good results. However, there were also many difficulties & challenges. In this context, Lilama Corporation still accomplished & handed over a number of large-scale projects to Owners and exceeded the production targets under the close management & guidance of Lilama leader board.
Installing equipment for Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant
According to Lilama report, in 2015 the production value of the whole corporation was VND14,180.7 billion (achieving 107.5% of the plan) of which VND4,945.9 billion belonged to the parent company and VND9,234.8 billion belonged to member and associate companies. Turnover of the entire corporation was VND11,763.2 billion (achieving 109.3% of the plan), parent company: VND4,945.9 billion, member & associate companies: VND6,817.3 billion. The Corp. has paid VND431 billion to State Budget. In anticipation, the production plan of year 2016 will be VND18,323.4 billion (equivalent to 129.2% in comparison with year 2015), turnover will be VND15,150.8 billion (129.2% compared with 2015), profit will be VND301.3 billion and State Budget contribution will be VND437.5 billion. In general, the parent company and its subsidiaries have a stable & wholesome finance, their production activities become more and more effective and many members have high growth rates such as the parent company, Lilama 18 JSC, Lilama 10 JSC…
Over the past year, some large-scale and important projects have been handed over to Owners by Lilama for commercial operation and they were highly appreciated by the Party, State & Government such as Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant, Mong Duong 2 thermal power plant, machine unit 1 of Lai Chau hydro power plant. Besides, all the projects that Lilama is now participating in keep up with the defined schedule, assuring safety, effectiveness and quality such as: Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project, Thai Binh 2 thermal power project, Song Hau thermal power project, Vinh Tan thermal power project…
Panorama of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant
The event that EPC Contractor Lilama handed over Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant with capacity of 1,200 MW (2x600) to Owner for commercial operation has a specially important meaning. This affirms the success of domestic EPC contractor model. Speeking at the inauguration ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized that the successful construction of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant had a turning-point meaning, it was a coal-fired power plant having the largest capacity of machine unit in Vietnam with advanced & modern technology and mainly using domestic coal. This was the first time both Owner and EPC Main Contractor were Vietnamese enterprizes, implementing the policy of internal force promotion among which mechanical manufacture & machinery installation were important fields. We always encouraged foreign investment, but we also need inner forces to speed up the industrialization & modernization of the country, asserted the Prime Minister.
Lilama engineers participate in installation work of Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project
In Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project (Thanh Hoa), the Project Management Board let us know during the construction, facing many hardships, the construction area spread on a complicated terrain and the weather was very severe, but with high determination, Lilama PMB together with member companies had mobilezed all their manpower and equipment for extra shift working to ensure the schedule, quality, safety and make sure the undertaken volume, contributing to accomplish the general production targets of the corporation. The completed construction volume achieved 101.4% of the plan, among which steel structure installation: 30,855 tons (113.3% of the plant); equipment 36,769 tons; piping manufacture 1,132,406 ID (105.5%); 776,888 ID of piping had been erected; 24,146 tons of tanks & vessels had been installed…
Deploying the space for Song Hau 1 thermal power plant
In Song Hau 1 thermal power project in Hau Giang, about 250 engineers and 5,000 workers will be mobilized from LILAMA and other contractors if necessary. In estimation, after 7 months of ground handling and 4-5 months of pile pressing, the foundation work will be deployed. As anticipated, steel structures of first boiler will be installed by August next year.
In the role of Main Contractor, LILAMA is responsible for all work items, from roads to construction & installation. At the moment, LILAMA is controlling all designs, from overall design to partial designs. There are many units participating in designing work with various levels, but the volume of LILAMA and other domestic subcontractors make up mainly. The project of Song Hau 1 thermal power plant with capacity of 1,200 MW is invested by Petroleum of Vietnam. When being finished and put into operation in 2019, it will supply the national electrical grid with about 7.8 billion kWh per year.
Besides, in other thermal power projects such as Thai Binh 2, Vinh Tan and Lai Chau hydro power plant… Lilama is now coordinating closely with concerning performance units to make sure the safety, quality, effectiveness and keep up with the schedules pledged to Owners.
