LILAMA handed over Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant to Owner for commercial operation
At 15:00 on 27/5/2015, the Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant has been officially handed over by EPC Main Contractor Lilama to Owner Petroleum of Vietnam for commercial operation. This is an important event connecting to mark successes in performing projects in form of EPC Main Contractor of a domestic enterprize.
As reported from LILAMA project board in Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant, today (27/5), EPC Main Contractor LILAMA has officially handed over the whole plant to Owner Petroleum of Vietnam. Previously, on 12/5, LILAMA had handed over machine unit 2 to Owner for commercial operation. Thus, after 15 days of reliable running, LILAMA has officially handed over the entire plant to Owner as per the EPC contract signed between two parties. Next, LILAMA just performs the work of guarantee as committed in the EPC contract.
Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant is a national main important project invested by PVN and built by EPC Main Contractor LILAMA. The plant has 2 machine units (2x600MW). When being put into use, the plant will contribute to the national grid about 8 billion kWh per year.
