ASME Certificate for mechanical products manufactured by Lilama 18

     Mr Tran Anh Tai, LILAMA 18 QA/QC Manager said that was the first high pressured tank to be manufactured in Vietnam and it was performed by LILAMA 18 in accordance with the ASME Standards ranging from the phase of design, procurement, checking welding process and the welders, flanging ball heads, thermal addtion to eliminate stress of material and welds, NDT checking, pressure testing... The whole plan of checking and testing was made under the approving of AI - Lloyd’s Register. Then, in accordance with the plan, each step was supervised seriously by Lloyd's, Main Contractor's technicians and the Owner.

     From the year 2004, LILAMA 18 started to set up standards, admitted different comments and finally, they were awarded Certificates U, S, U2, NB, R by ASME (USA) and National Board. Those certificates have been an insurance for the manufacturing and installing mechanical equipment, repairing equip., and exporting high pressured equip. such as: pressured tanks, pressured pipelines, boilers, etc. In fact, LILAMA 18 has manufactured, repaired successfully and sealed ASME on many products.

     In 2012, Lilama 18 manufactured 26 pressured tanks under ASME Standard for Shinko Plantech (Japan) to export to Thailand. Recently, the Company has fabricated and manufactured the flowing pressured tank Z1121 that mixes hydrocarbon for Lam Son JOC. This is a high pressured equipment to be put on Thang Long - Dong Do oil platform, with the working pressure of 75 bars, testing pressure of 97.5 bars and designed temperature of 100 degree Celsius. With small dimensions (inside diameter: 960mm, length: 3189mm) but suffering from high pressure, it was so difficult to flange 2 ball heads with steel plate of 38.1 mm thick. However, with long-term experience and technique, LILAMA 18 has flanged successfully the 2 ball heads under the ASME Standards in severe supervision of QA/QC engineers and technicians.

     The product was taken over and sealed "U" on Name Plate in witness of AI – Lloyd’s Register, Main Contractor Vinh Nam JSC, PTSC Mechanical & Construction Joint Stock Company and the Owner Lam Son JOC.

     For the time being, LILAMA 18 is manufacturing 4 pressured tanks to be sealed "U" for Linde Vietnam, fabricating and installing boilers to be sealed "S" for Mong Duong thermal power plant. Applying the entire ASME standards and manufacturing successfully a lot of pressured equipment as well as continually receiving new orders, LILAMA 18 has shown their capability and stable position in the customers' minds both inside & outside the country.
