Successfully installing generator of machine unit 1 in Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant project

     Installing generator of machine unit 1 (the equipment weighed 340 tons) onto the height of 18m was done by Lilama 45-1 JSC (member of Lilama Corporation). At 8a.m on Feb.4th, the installation work was started. There were some difficulties because the area was narrow and the work was carried out in turbine building, they could not use any crane to lift. Lilama 45-1 used a specialized vehicle to move the equipment into the lifting hold. After that, they used a system of 4 hydraulic jacks, each one weighed 180 tons to lift the equipment onto the height of 18m and took it to the installation place. Until 21:00 of the same day, the generator has been put into the installation position safely and accurately. The successful installation of this equipment is an important step to strive for accomplishing all installing work and coming to pressure test for boiler 1 and burning.

     The Owner of Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant project is Petroleum of Vietnam (PVN), PVC is the Main Contractor, Lilama Corporation is contractor of equipment installation. The project has been commenced since 06/2014, steam drums of machine unit 1 & 2 were lifted on 03/02/2015 & 18/05/2015. At the moment, the main items to be performed is installing boiler and pressure equipment. The total installation volume up to now achieves 26,571/74,438 tons (equivalent to 35.70%). Other items have been also deployed in accordance with the defined schedule by Lilama.
