Successful Pressure Test for Boiler 1 of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant
This morning, February 20th 2013, at site of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant project, Main Contractor LILAMA conducted a pressure test for Boiler 1 of the plant in witness of the Owner - PVN, Consultants and the Safety Checking Center KV1 (who issues checking certificates).
The delegation of Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry and leaders from Ha Tinh People's Committee visited and congratulated the Vung Ang 1 power project
At 8 a.m, Boiler 1 was tested successfully with pressure of 295kg/cm2 and it was kept within 30 minutes to ensure all defined technical specifications. This is an important milestone to prepare for burning boilers the first time with oil fuel on September 1st 2013 and with coal fuel on December 12th 2013. After the pressure test, LILAMA will carry on the work of insulation, kiln bricklaying and finishing vantilating pipelines, coal supplying pipelines, oil supplying pipelines, etc., in preparation for burning boilers as planned.
As reported by LILAMA Project Board, up to now, Main Contractor LILAMA has mobilized over 2,151 engineers and labourers to work at site continually to make sure the electric generatation of Machine Unit 1 at the end of this year. In designing work: construction design reaches 99%; in procurement work:118,622 tons of imported equipment have been procured (reaching 96%); in local manufacturing work:46,233 tons of equipment have been fabricated and manufactured (reaching 98%); in installation work: LILAMA has installed 75,069 /87.467 tons of equipment (reaching 86%)...
