Lilama merged successfully Machine Unit 1 of Hua Na hydro power plant into the National Grid
At 19:30 February 1st 2013 Machine Unit 1 (capacity 90MW) of Hua Na hydro power plant was merged successfully into the National Grid. This is a result from the creative working spirit of LILAMA and other performing organizations at site and a meaningful present to welcome Spring and congratulate the Communist Party.
Hua Na hydro power project consisting of 2 machine units, with total capacity of 180 MW is now being constructed in Dong Van commune, Que Phong district, Nghe An province; its Owner is PVN and Lilama is the Main Contractor who designs, supplies, transports and installs equipment, conducts testing and adjusting work, and finally puts the fulfilled project into operation. The main duty of this project is to contribute to increase the national electric productivity, speed up the country's industrialization process as well as raise the living standards for people in Nghe An province particularly and all over the country generally.
Being commenced on 18/3/2008, with the best efforts of the Owner (PVN), the Project Managing Organization (HHC), Consultants and Main Contractor (Lilama), up to now, the first Machine Unit has been merged successfully into the National Grid, satisfying all technical requirements.
In a conversation with us, Mr Vu Duy Them, Project Director of LILAMA said that the successful mergence of Machine Unit 1 had an important meaning in celebration of the 83th anniversary of Vietnamese Communist Party. It was a success from the decisive guide and management of LILAMA leaders and the continual creative working of LILAMA employees as well as the other performing organizations at site, especially LILAMA 10 who is implementing Machine Unit 1 directly.
At the moment, Hua Na hydro power project has been finished basically in such important items as: making sure the water flow in the leading trenches, the water flow in the running line of Machine Unit 2, pouring concrete in sub-tunnel 1 & 2, test running for the operating technical system, finishing fire alarming system, lightning poles... Besides, the preparation work for generating electricity of Machine Unit 2 executed by LILAMA 7 has also been in the finishing phase. As anticipated, Machine Unit 2 will be merged into the National Grid in February 2013 within its schedule.
