Successful pressure test for boiler 2 of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant
This morning, 12/07/2013 at site of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant, Main Contractor Lilama has successfully conducted a pressure test for boiler 2 of the plant in witness of the Owner (PVN), Consultant and Safety Inspection Centre KV1 (who issues the inspection certificate) 2 months earlier than the specified schedule.

At 10:00 a.m the work of pressure test was conducted, boiler 2 was tested with pressure of 295 kg/cm2 and was maintained within 30 minutes. All the technical specifications satisfied the defined requirements. After the test, Lilama will perform the next works such as insulation, kiln bricklaying, finishing ventilation pipelines, coal feeding lines, oil feeding lines and so on...
Besides, the preparation work for test running of the entire Machine Unit 1 is now deploying fast and synchronously by Lilama in all system of this unit so as to keep up with the first burning on 1/9/2013. As planned, in July, the following important systems will be run for test: the whole work of cleaning chemicals for condensed water system, water for boiler and main boiler 1; test running of HFO fuel oil system, ventilating fan system, smoke fans ID, FD, PA and burning tap system of main boiler 1.
Up to now, Lilama has finished approximately 89.41% of the work volume of whole the project.
