Lilama Corporation: Summing up work in the first half of year 2014 and deploying duties in the second half
On July 25 th 2014, in Hanoi, Lilama Corporation organized a conference for summing up work volume in the first half of year 2014 and deploying duties in the second half. Mr Nguyen Dinh Hai, Corp.'s Party Secretary, Chairman of Member Board and Mr Le Van Tuan, General Director presided over the conference.
In recent years, LILAMA Corporation has signed numerous valued contracts of construction and installation with Owners/ EPC Contractors, however the works will be started mainly in 2015 and next years. In the firsf half of year 2014, Lilama has finished very well all planned targets. The productivity achieved 5,175 billion dongs, revenue reached 4,317 billion dongs, contributing 169 billion dongs to State budget.
To achieve those results, the Corp.'s leaders have drastically directed project boards, project management boards, member companies to gather manpower, equipment in order to speed up the construction schedules of such projects as: Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant, Mong Duong 1 & 2 thermal power plant, Lai Chau hydro power plant... and quickly deploy the preparation work for new projects (Song Hau thermal power plant, expansion Duyen Hai 3 and so on).
Besides, other works were also deployed promptly, seriously and in accordance with the plan such as: searching for new projects, implementing work of corporate structure re-organization, practising the work of saving against wasting, work of social security...
In the first half of the year, almost subsidiary companies of LILAMA Corp. have efficient production results such as: Lilama 10 JSC, Lilama 18 JSC, Lilama 69-1 JSC, etc. However, there were a lot of difficulties during the production activities, especially the source of manpower and corporate managers in some member companies failed to meet expectation, the work of deploying project schedules began going to the tight lines, many hardships in capital withdrawal and financial pressure on under-construction projects. In this situation, LILAMA Corp. has taken concrete measures to fulfil well the 2014 production duties.
In summarizing the conference, General Director Le Van Tuan affirmed that in the first half of year 2014, the Corporation had completed the planned targets very well. He also added that in next time, especially in Quarter III they had to implement better such main duties as: enhancing the corporate management work, stepping up production activities, well preparing sources to finish projects in time, continuing the work of corporate structure re-organization in which there were two important points: capital withdrawing and equitizing.
