Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project: successfully installing Tower of PROPANE / PROPYLENE SPLITTER
On 30/6/2015, at Nghi Son oil chemical refinery project (Thanh Hoa), Lilama 18 JSC in coordination with Nippon Express Co. (NEX) has conducted to install the tower of Propane /Propylene Splitter. This is one of the most important equipment of the plant due to its function of splitting Propane / Prolylene.
The tower has diameter of 6.3m, and it is 95m high, 900 tons heavy. The installation was performed with 02 cranes of 2000 tons and 800 tons transported from Europe and Japan. To make it easy for the installation, all the preparation work had been arranged carefully by Nippon Express and Lilama, the performance method had been planned and approved by Main Contractor JGCS.
After installing successfully the tower in accordance with the design, Lilama 18 continues finish the piping system, terminal equipment connected with the tower of Propane/Propylene Splitter and install the distilling dishes inside the equipment with total weight of approximately 750 tons.
With long-term experience accumulated in various projects, especially in Dung Quat oil refinery plant, Lilama 18 proved to be a methodical company in both management organization and performance in the construction site of Nghi Son oil chemical refinery plant. Up to now, all items responsible by Lilama 18 have been highly appreciated for the quality and schedule by Owner.
In the item of underground piping installation, 120,000ID/125,000ID of UGPX underground pipe of Zone 1, Zone 2 and GRP pipe have been installed already. For the 02 crude oil vessels with diameter of 89m and 21.5m high: they have finished 4000/4500 tons of tanks & vessels. As anticipated, these two crude oil tanks will be accomplished in the end of October & December 2015 by Lilama 18. Moreover, the package of installing steel structures for RFCC area, Zone 1 has achieved more than 2700/6600 tons. Besides, the item of manufacturing 268,000 ID of technological pipes for the project is now being deployed advantageously by Lilama 18, satisfying the required schedule in Pha Rung workshop (Hai Phong).
