Lilama EMC: signing contract of Package 4 of the biggest cooking oil production plant project in Vietnam
On November 2nd 2015, Lilama Machinery Erection and Mechanics JSC and Northern Vietnam Vegetable Oil Co., Ltd. (NORTALIC) have signed contract of performing Package 4 which belongs to the project “Cooking oil & oil products plant”.
The Northern Vietnam Cooking Oil Co., Ltd. is a joint-venture between Vietnam Cooking Oil Industrial Corporation and Musim Mas Vietnam Oils & Fats Company of Singapore. According to this contract, Lilama EMC will manufacture and install pressure tanks & vessels, pipeline system, auxiliary area and relevant work with total contract value of more than 60 billion dongs, and the defined schedule is within 270 days.

The project is located in the area of 5.5 ha in Nghi Son economic zone, Hai Ha commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province with total investment capital of USD 71.5 million (the Singapore investor contributes 70%), and the plant capacity is 1500 tons per day. The first stage of project will be accomplished and put into use by December 2016 with capacity of 600 tons a day. This is the biggest cooking oil production project in Vietnam for the time being.
This contract signing shows a trust of Owner and partners including foreign partners in LILAMA EMC. It also affirms prestige & capability of the company in performing large scale projects inside the country.
