Commencing to install steel structure equipment of Boiler for Long Phu 1 thermal power plant
In the morning of April 10th 2016, in Long Duc commune, Long Phu district, Soc Trang province, Lilama Corporation in coordination with Petroleum of Vietnam (PVN), Main Contractor Consortium PTSC- Power Machines(PM) conducted the commencement of installing steel structures for boiler of machine unit 1. This was an event marking the stage from foundation construction to steel structure installation and equipment installation for Long Phu 1 thermal power plant.
People participating in the ceremony are Mr Nguyen Doan Toan, Chief of Management Board of Long Phu 1 Petroleum Electricity; Mr Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Lilama Project Board together with other leaders.
Speeking at the ceremony, Mr Nguyen Anh Tuan expressed his thanks to Management Board of Long Phu 1 Petroleum Electricity and the authorities who had support and enabled Lilama to accomplish their duties, especially the preparation work for installing steel structures. Next, collective of Lilama engineers and worker would try their best to coordinate with other units to concentrate on installing 15000 tons of equipment within 6 months. As anticipated, in 9/2016 they will conducted to install the main beam which weighs 130 tons at the height of 80.280m.
Long Phu 1 thermal power plant which has capacity of 1,200MW and belongs to Long Phu Electricity Centre consists of 2 machine units and it is located in Long Duc commune, Long Phu district, Soc Trang province. As planned, machine unit 1 of the plant will be put into commercial operation in 2018 and machine unit 2 will be put into commercial operation in 2019.
