Successfully merging electricity from machine unit 3 of Lai Chau hydro power plant

As reported from Lilama Management Board in Lai Chau hydro power project, at 21h45 of 9/11/2016 machine unit 3 - the last one of the plant has been merged successfully into the national power grid with capacity of 400MWby Lilama 10 JSC (member of Lilama Corporation).

    

    Lai Chau hydro power plant is a national important project which was commenced on 05/01/2011 in Nam Hang commune, Muong Te district, Lai Chau province. The plant consists of 3 machine units with total capacity of 1,200 MW (3×400MW), and it will supply more than 4.67 billion kWh to the national power grid. The Owner of this project is Electrictiy of Vietnam, Lilama 10 JSC has participated to manufacture, install, test, calibrate and put it into operation.

     Previously, machine unit 1 & 2 had been merged in turn into the national grid by Lilama 10 on 14/12/2015 and 20/6/2016. The successful mergence of machine unit 3 of Lai Chau hydro power plant 5 months ahead of schedule has a very important meaning, contributing to assure the national energy security, save money and profit the state hundreds of billion dongs. As anticipated in this December 2016 the plant will be inaugurated a year ahead of the target defined by National Assembly.

     Thus, after nearly 6 years of construction, Lai Chau hydro power plant - national important project has been accomplished and put into use 1 year sooner than its schedule. This is an achievement resulted from creative, hard working of ten thousands of engineers and other labourers at the construction site, especially the ones from Lilama 10 JSC, member of Lilama Corporation.
