Vice Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai: checks the construction schedule of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant

     Vice Prime Minister was accompanied by Mr Vo Kim Cu - Chairman of Ha Tinh People's Committee, Mr Nguyen Quoc Khanh - Deputy General Director of PVN, Mr Tran Dinh Dai – Deputy General Director of Lilama.

    On behalf of EPC Main Contractor, Mr Tran Dinh Dai reported the performing work of the project to Vice Prime Minister. LILAMA has finished approximately 89.41% of the work volume of the whole project. Particularly, the designing work has reached 99.68% of the item; procuring and transporting work has finished by 98.45%; construction and installation has reached 92.35% and commissioning: 15.3%.

     Up to now, almost items relating the purpose of first burning for Machine Unit 1 with HFO oil have been basically finished in the installation work so as to come to the commissioning phase. At the same time, the work of Pre-commissioning and Commissioning has been deployed in all the above systems, particularly, self-service electrical system: has got reverse electricity on 9/1/2013 and has been ready for sub-supply to serve the commissioning work of machine unit 1. As anticipated, electricity will go into the main and sub transformers of machine unit 1 in 7/2013 for provision for supplying electricity to serve commisssing. The water treatment system and waste water treatment system (WT/WWT Plant) have been ready for operation. LILAMA has not yet received the quality certificate of input raw water and has not yet undertaken that the water source is stable and lasting, so it is difficult for them to mobilize experts for the commissioning. The sub boiler and DO oil supplying system have been operated for test, the sub boiler burning was conducted on 24/4/2013. Now, the test running is being continued for the adjustment of technical specifications.

     After listening to reports of the Owner and EPC Main Contractor, Vice Prime Minister has made a speech; he appreciated the efforts of the performing units participating in this project. He visited and encouraged Lilama's engineers and labourers working hard days and nights to finish the project in time as per the specified schedule.
