Electric generating preparation of machine unit 1 - Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant
At this time, at the construction site of Vung Ang 1 thermal power plant and especially in the Central Control Room of the plant, the LILAMA engineers and technicians, the Owner and the supplying contractor are quickly implementing the last works to prepare for electric generation of machine unit 1 on27/12 as anticipated.
Mr Nguyen Duy Loi, Director of LILAMA Project Board said that to assure the preparing work for electric generation of machine unit 1, LILAMA has finished the work of boiler blowing-off, round circuit running so that the steam meets the required quality, and the first flow of steam will be driven into turbine and tested successfully at the level of 700 rounds per minute.
This morning, the turbine rotating speed has achieved the level of 3000 rounds/minute. This speed will be kept within 2 days. As anticipated, on 27/12 machine unit 1 of Vung Ang thermal power plant will generate electricity. In June 2014 the commercial electric generation will be started and handed over to the Owner.
