Successful pressure test for Boiler 2A of Mong Duong 1 thermal power plant (Quang Ninh)
In the morning of July 7th 2014, Lilama 45-1 JSC (member of LILAMA Corporation) has conducted to test pressure for Boiler 2A of Mong Duong I (Quang Ninh) successfully, satisfying all defined technical specifications. Thus, 3 in 4 boilers of the plant have been tested successfully and surpassed the undertaken schedules.
At 7 a.m of July 7th 2014 the pressure testing process was started, the whole 300 m3 of water which had been got rid of mineral and added chemical for piping protection was taken into tank to fill in the Boiler and the pressure system. This process was conducted step by step, the Boiler pressure was raised gradually from 20, 50, 100, 150kg/cm2 (1 minute raised 1 Bar). During raising pressure, Lilama engineers checked the entire system, then step by step enhanced pressure upto 200kg/cm2 (the one for boiler working) and kept it within 30 minutes for checking. After that, pressure was raised upto 300kg/cm2, 1.5 times as the working pressure, it was then kept within 30 minutes until being released to 200 kg/cm2 for checking again. After approximately 7 hours, the testing process was finished; 12,500 high pressure welded joints of the whole boiler with capacity 250 MW and pressure system was safe, satisfying the defined technical specifications.
After pressure testing, Lilama 45-1 will carry on such work as thermal insulation, kiln-bricklaying, finishing the ventilation pipelines, coal feeding line, oil feeding line... for the first buring of boiler next month as anticipated.
