Vung Ang 1 thermal power project: strives for handing over machine unit 1 within January 2015
As reported from Vung Ang 1 Lilama Project Management Board, exactly at 8:00 a.m on 19/12/2014, Lilama Main Contractor has finished 72 hours of test running for machine unit 1(which has the capacity of 600MW) successfully, and all technical specifications have been ensured and satisfied the defined requirements.

According Mr Nguyen Duy Loi, the Vung Ang 1 Lilama Director, after the successful test running of machine unit 1, Lilama would continue to carry out the reliable running within 30 days as per the signed EPC contract. Up to now, all the items of the project have been deployed in accordance with the committed schedules. Particularly, the total project work volume has been fulfilled by 98.30%, including the designing work: finished 100%, procurement: finished 100%, construction and installation: completed by 99.95%, test running: accomplished by 77.50%.
To specify the test running work and come to the reliable running are the main points of the work volume right now. Main Contractor Lilama, together with Consultant and sub-contractors continue to try their best, coordinate closely, intensify the work of guidance, supervision, checking and urging all activities at site; arrange the resources, overcome difficulties and obstacles so as to speed up the schedule of project items. They also continue the process of reliable running, striving for cấp PAC of machine unit 1 in January 2015 and machine unit 2 in Quarter I/2015.
