Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant: successful pressure test for boiler 1

In the morning of July 22nd 2016, at the construction site of Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant,  in witness of Owner PVN, Contractor Lilama has conducted pressure test for boiler 1 successfully, satisfying all defined technical specifications. Checking & taking over units consisted of State Supervision, Consortium of Industrial Trading Ministry and the Petroleum Technical Safety Supervision Co., Ltd. of Vietnam PVC-EIC.

     The work started at 7:00 a.m, pressure was raised until 9:13, and during the rasing process Lilama engineers conducted to check the system and step by step increased pressure and kept it within 30 minutes. At 9:43 pressure reached 7.3Mpa/73bar, ensuring the test requirement and it was 1.5 times in comparison with the designed one 4,83Mpa/48,3 bar. After this test, Lilama will carry out next work such as: thermal insulation, kiln bricklaying, ventilating pipelines, coal supply way, oil supply way …

Boiler 1 satisfied all defined technical specifications

     Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant invested by Petroleum of Vietnam (PVN) is one of the national main important projects belonging to Electricity Plan VII. The plant has its designed capacity of 1,200MW with total investment capital of more than VND 34,000 billion (equivalent to USD 1.7 billion), and as anticipated after finish it will produce about 6.7 billion kWh of commercial electricity.
