LILAMA commences the assembly works of 27 green hydrogen modules for H2GS Project (Stegra)

At 9 a.m. on November 13th 2024, LILAMA Corporation held the commencement ceremony on assembly works of 27 green hydrogen modules for the H2GS project (Stegra) in LILAMA 69.3 Mechanical Manufacturing Factory in Quang Phuc commune, Tu ky district, Hai Duong province. The ceremony was witnessed by the Thyssenkrupp Nucera (as EPC Contractor) and attended by LILAMA GH2-H2Gs Project Management Board, the Construction Team No.1 (Lilama) and all project staff and workers.

Under the witness of the Thyssenkrupp Nucera, LILAMA officially carried out the production chain conforming to strictly technical requirements. According to the project schedule, the assembly works was executed from this date and expected to complete for testing and commissioning by the end of year 2025. LILAMA committed to accomplish the project on the schedule with safety, efficiency and quality as required, in which the quality of products must meet the international and European standards when exporting to Sweden such as EN 1090-2, PED, ASME, B31.3, ISO 3834.

The name of H2GS Project has been changed into Stegra Project  since September 2024. The new name intentionally reflects an expectation of long-term target to promote and develop the green steel industry. “Stegra” in the Swedish word means “elevate” which captures a spirit of facing challenges to rise and always moving forward.

The Stegra project focused on 3 main fields: green hydrogen, green iron and green steel aiming at reducing carbon emission in steel production process. This project was financed from the Swede’s and Europe’s programs on supporting the green industry development.
