Lilama has successfully merged machine unit 2 of Lai Chau hydro power plant to the national grid
According to Lilama Management Board at Lai Chau hydro power plant, at 9:15 a.m of June 20th, 2016, machine unit 2 of the plant has been merged successfully to the national grid by Lilama 10 JSC (member of Lilama Corporation) with capacity of 400Mw.
The Lai Chau hydro power plant has 03 machine units with total capacity of 1,200MW is being built in Nam Hang commune, Nam Nhun district, Lai Chau province. When being put into use, with all 3 machine units, the plant will supply the national grid with about 4.69 billion kWh per year.
Machine unit 2 of Lai Chau hydro power plant has been merged successfully to the national grid with capacity of 400Mw
So, after a year closing the water inlet sluice and accumulating water for storage lake (20/06/2015), with the creative and hard working of collective of staffs from Lilama 10 JSC, machine unit 1 & 2 with capacity of 2x400Mw have been merged successfully to the national grid, satisfying all technical requirments.
Besides, as for machine unit 3, Lilama 10 is now quickly completing the assembling & installing work, and as anticipated on 20/08/2016 they will install Rotor, striving for merging this machine unit to the national grid in November and accomplishing the whole plant in the end of 2016, “a year ahead of defined schedule”.
