Merging successfully Machine unit 1 of Ban Chat hydro power plant into the National Grid
Recently, on February 8th 2013, the first machine unit of Ban Chat hydro power plant has been merged successfully into the National Grid by Lilama 10 (LILAMA Corporation's subsidiary company).
In early February (1/2/2013), the first machine unit of Hua Na hydro power project was also merged successfully into the National Grid by engineers and workers of Lilama 10. The synchronous mergence of machine unit 1 of Ban Chat hydro power plant into the national grid at this time of the year plays an important part in adding more capacity in time for the national electrical system in the dry season of 2013; and this is also an achievement in celebration of 83th anniversary of the Vietnamese Communist Party. Besides, the machine unit 2 is also assembled quickly by Lilama 10. The laborers are istalling equipment for turbine, generator and other accessories for turbine.
The panorama of Ban Chat hydro power plant project
Ban Chat hydro power plant is being constructed in Muong Kim commune, Than Uyen district, Lai Chau province, and this is one of the two terraced hydro power projects in Nam Mu river. With the designed capacity of 220MW, when being put into operation, Ban Chat hydro power plant will provide approximately 1,158.1x106 KWh of electricity for the National Grid. With the storage lake of 1.702 billion m3, the Ban Chat hydro power project also plays and important role in regulating water for Da River system and lower section of Hong River, participating in cutting flood so as to protect projects in the lower section.
The Ban Chat hydro power project is invested by EVN, Lilama participates in the Consortium of Contractors of design, supply, transport, installation of equipment, test and adjustment, putting into opertation.
