Nghi Sơn 2 TPPP: Successful presure testing for the Boiler#2
On January 25th, 2021, the LILAMA 69.1 Construction Team successfully performed the hydrostatic pressure test for the Boiler#2 of the Nghi Son 2 project in site (in Hai Ha commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province) under the witness of the Joint-venture of Marubeni-Kepco as the Onwer, the EPC Contractor Doosan and Incosaf as the inspection unit.
The success of the test marks a significance in the fulfilment in pressure and mechanical work for the Boiler#2, as well as achieves an important milestone of the schedule of Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant Project.
Following this, the Lilama 69.1 Construction Team shall complete other relating works such as pipe insulation, furnace building, ventilation system, NOx reduction system, smoke exhaust system, auxiliary system,… in preparation for the initial firing of the Nghi Son 2 Unit 1 on August 2021.
Also during this period of time, the Nghi Son 2 project staff and LILAMA 18.5 Construction Team (a Lilama 18 Co. subsidiary) had been running with the time to achieve the milestone of the initial firing for the Unit 1 before Lunar New Year of 2021.
The Nghi Son 2 BOT Thermal Power Plant Project, which is owned by the Joint-Venture of Marubeni and Kepco, EPC contractor is Doosan Heavy Industries, composes of 02 Units with the total capacity of 1,200 MW (2x600MW) applied with the super-critical technology.
